Imogen Alvares is a professional dancer based in Surrey. Raised by classical musicians, she grew up in a household filled with live music and started dancing around the house from a young age. She began ballet, modern and tap classes, training at Susan Robinson School of Ballet until the age of 16. She then went on to train at Rambert School, gaining her Bachelors Degree in 2017 and her Masters Degree in 2020. Most recently (pre-pandemic), Imogen has been performing internationally with Teac Damsa, the company of Michael Keegan-Dolan. Previously she was in Rambert2, performing works by Sharon Eyal, Ohad Naharin and Benoit Swan Pouffer. She has also worked with Second Hand Dance, Jona Dance Company and has danced in various music videos and adverts.
